Before signing for merchandise
- It is your responsibility to inspect the packaging and the contents inside for damage before signing.
- IF THE PACKAGE IS DAMAGED YOU SHOULD REFUSE DELIVERY OF THE PRODUCT AND NOT SIGN. YOU MUST STATE ON THE BOL (bill of lading) WHY IT WAS REFUSED AND TAKE PICTURES.
- Pictures should be taken before and after removal of packaging.
- Any damage to packaging or contents inside needs to be reported on the BOL.
- Texas Truck LLC is not responsible for claims against carriers if the proper precautions were not taken before signing for freight.
- Texas Truck LLC will not initiate claims against carriers till we have received the following.
- Pictures before and after contents have been unpackaged.
- Updated freight bill stating all damages done by carrier.
- A completed carrier inspection form, noting all damages.
